Exchange of Opinions with the Federation of Japan Chambers of Commerce and Industry in Australia

The Embassy of Japan, together with the Federation of Japan Chambers of Commerce and Industry in Australia, conducts an annual exchange of opinions, providing a forum for discussion about matters such as Japan-Australia economic relations and ways to support Japanese companies in Australia. This year, it was held on 5 and 6 December.
Taking this opportunity, we invited guest speakers including CEO of the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet’s Net Zero Economic Agency, Mr James Chisholm, as well as Assistant Secretary Mr Marco Salvio and Assistant Secretary Mr Warren Hauck from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, to speak about recent initiatives in their respective agencies. Through these exchanges, Japanese companies were able to deepen their understanding of Australian Government activities, and build their networks.
