Visit by Ambassador SUZUKI to the Northern Territory

From the 28th to the 29th of August, Ambassador SUZUKI paid a visit to the Northern Territory. During his visit, he made courtesy calls on Northern Territory Administrator His Honour Professor the Hon. Hugh Heggie PSM, Chief Minister Natasha Fyles, the Hon. Mark Monaghan, Speaker of the Northern Territory Legislative Assembly, and Mrs Lia Finocchiaro, Leader of the Opposition, where discussions were held regarding security and economic relations. Ambassador SUZUKI also laid wreathes at the memorial to the I-124 (the Ambassador’s speech can be read here) and at the Darwin Cenotaph, and paid a visit to the Darwin Memorial Uniting Church.
