2020 Autumn Conferment of Decorations on Foreign Nationals

The Government of Japan announced on 3 November the 2020 Autumn Conferment of Decorations on Foreign Nationals for their outstanding contribution to their respective areas.
The Embassy of Japan therefore wishes it to be known that the following recipient shall be conferred with decorations in recognition of their endeavours. The details of the recipient is as follow;
Mr Bruce James Ross Miller AO
Former Australian Ambassador to Japan
Mr Bruce James Ross Miller has been awarded “The Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Star” for his contribution to strengthening bilateral relations and promoting friendship between Japan and Australia.
