2019 Autumn Conferment of Decorations on Foreign Nationals

 
The Government of Japan announced on 3 November the 2019 Autumn Conferment of Decorations on Foreign Nationals for their outstanding contribution to their respective areas.
 
The Embassy of Japan therefore wishes it to be known that the following recipients shall be conferred with decorations in recognition of their endeavours. The details of the recipients are as follows;


Mr. John Paul Gallagher
Former Executive Director of the Australia Japan Business Co-operation Committee
 
Mr John Paul Gallagher has been awarded “The Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Rosette” for his contribution to promoting economic exchanges and mutual understanding between Japan and Australia.
 
 
Mr. Michael Arnold Hodgkin
Former President of Australia-Japan Society (ACT) Inc.
 
Mr. Michael Arnold Hodgkin has been awarded “The Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Rosette” for his contribution to promoting friendly relations and mutual understanding between Japan and Australia.
