Donations from Japanese companies and Japan related organisations to aid Australian bushfire disaster relief

As of the 24th January, the total amount of donations from Japanese companies and Japan related organisations in Australia and in Japan for the Australian bushfire relief effort has exceeded five million Australian Dollars, based on information gathered by the Embassy and Consulate-Generals in Australia.
Japanese companies and organisations around Australia continue to plan charity events in order to raise funds for this purpose.
We hope that these good wills of Japanese people will help support Australian communities that have been affected by the bushfire to make a speedy recovery.
