2021 Autumn Conferment of Decorations Ceremony for the Chair of the Canberra Nara Sister City Committee, Mrs Narelle Hargreaves AM, OAM

On 18th March 2022, in recognition of her contribution to promoting friendship between Japan and Australia through sister cities and schools, the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Rays was conferred upon the Chair of the Canberra Nara Sister City Committee, Mrs Narelle Hargreaves AC, OAM as part of the Autumn 2021 Foreign National Decorations.
The conferment ceremony, held at the Ambassador’s Residence, was attended by Mrs Hargreaves’ close friends and the Canberra Nara Sister City Committee members in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Ambassador YAMAGAMI congratulated Mrs Hargreaves on her decades long contributions to promoting the sister city relationship. The ceremony was concluded with remarks by Mrs Hargreaves.
