2021 Spring Conferment of Decorations Ceremony for the Honourable Warren George Entsch MP

On 7 April, in recognition of his contribution to strengthening ties between Japan and Australia and the promotion of parliamentary exchange, the Grand Cordon of the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Star was conferred upon Member of the House of Representatives, the Honourable Warren George Entsch MP, as part of the Spring 2021 Foreign National Decorations.
The congenial conferment ceremony was held in Cairns, Mr Entsch’s hometown, and attended by his mother, wife, children and close friends. Ambassador YAMAGAMI celebrated Mr Entsch and his extraordinary contributions to the bilateral relationship. Mr Entsch then returned the compliment in his speech.
