2020 Autumn Conferment of Decorations Ceremony for Mr Bruce Miller AO

On 6 May, Mr Bruce Miller AO, former Australian Ambassador to Japan, was bestowed The Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Star in the 2020 Autumn Conferment of Decorations for his contribution to strengthening bilateral relations and promoting friendship between Japan and Australia.
Held at the Japanese Ambassador’s official residence, the ceremony was attended by Mr Miller’s family, friends and his former colleagues in a warm and friendly atmosphere. In his congratulatory remarks, Ambassador Yamagami thanked Mr Miller for his enormous contributions. The ceremony concluded with remarks from Mr Miller.
