Ambassador Suzuki’s Meeting with Senator the Hon Sue Lines, President of the Senate

On October 27, Ambassador Suzuki paid a courtesy call on Senator the Hon Sue Lines, President of the Senate. The Ambassador gave his congratulations to Senator Lines on her re-election as President of the Senate, and they discussed furthering exchange and communication with parliamentarians in the lead up to the 50th anniversary of the Basic Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation (also known as the NARA Treaty) next year.
